5.3 When Is a Report Not Required by the Common Entry Point (CEP)?

In some instances, making a report to the CEP is not required. These include the following events:

  • Federal Prohibition
  • Non-Violent Altercation Between Resident/Patients/Clients of a Facility
  • Preventable Event
  • Error in Therapeutic Conduct
