1.6.2 Bacteria

Bacteria are singlecelled organisms found everywhere, and most of them are nonpathogenic.

Pathogenic bacteria cause various diseases. For example, the bacterium Mycobacterium tuberculosis causes tuberculosis and has the highest death count when it comes to bacterial infections.
