7.2.1 Safeguards for the HIPAA Enforcement Rule
The Enforcement Rule requires the following safeguards:
- Privacy of PHI
- Limitations to the disclosure of data containing PHI
- Restrictions on the use of sensitive information
- Setting controls on access to PHI.
